Nalasopara, October 13 (Daily Kiran) : Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane has expressed strong condemnation regarding an incident that occurred during a Garba celebration in Nalasopara. He characterized the event as a case of love jihad, claiming he had warned about such incidents prior to the Navratri festival. Rane alleged that the accused was connected to explicit videos and a pornographic company, asserting that individuals like him deliberately target Hindu festivals.
In his statements, Rane emphasized, “I have consistently spoken out against love jihad. Before Navratri began, I warned our Hindu sisters that these jihadists would infiltrate Garba events under various aliases, aiming to ruin their lives. The Nalasopara incident exemplifies this, where a jihadist was caught engaging in inappropriate behavior at the Garba. Upon checking his phone, numerous explicit videos were found.”
He further stated, “We are often told not to mix religion into every issue, but today, those who disrupt our festivals will face consequences. We never interfere with their Eid or Muharram celebrations, nor do we engage in such behavior. The same rules and laws should apply to our Hindu festivals.”
Rane insisted that this was not a fabricated story but a genuine occurrence. He claimed that the accused was filming inappropriate videos of Hindu women during the Navratri festivities and had links to a pornographic company. “I have repeatedly warned that love jihad incidents are orchestrated by jihadists during our Hindu celebrations,” he added.
He concluded by asserting that only followers of Sanatan Hinduism should participate in Hindu festivals. “We never disrupt their Eid, Muharram, or Ramadan celebrations, and there are no Hindus engaging in such actions during those times. Therefore, anyone who dares to come to our Hindu festivals and jeopardize the lives of our sisters will be dealt with severely by our state government.”
