Ahmedabad, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : The Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway has set a remarkable new record in freight loading. On September 9, the division successfully loaded 91 rakes, totaling 3,847 wagons, marking the highest single-day loading achievement in its operational history.
Just four days prior, on September 5, the division had set a record by loading 85 rakes with 3,580 wagons. This recent accomplishment highlights a significant improvement in efficiency and performance within a short span.
Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager Ved Prakash, this achievement is attributed to the exceptional coordination, diligence, and dedication of the entire team. The Ahmedabad Division has also demonstrated outstanding performance across various freight categories.
On September 9, the division not only achieved the record of loading 91 rakes but also reached new heights by loading 28 jumbo rakes in a single day. In the container transport sector, 47 container rakes were loaded, including 23 double-stack container rakes, showcasing the effective and maximum utilization of available freight capacity.
To meet agricultural needs, 19 fertilizer rakes were loaded to ensure timely supply. Additionally, 8 salt rakes were dispatched to cater to various demands.
The continuous setting of new loading records by the Ahmedabad Division reflects its commitment to operational efficiency, effective resource utilization, and enhancing freight transport services. This achievement is not only a source of pride for the division but also strengthens the overall performance of Western Railway in the freight sector.
Ved Prakash congratulated all officials and staff of the Ahmedabad Division for this remarkable success, emphasizing that it is a result of collective efforts, better coordination, and consistent high performance.
