Mumbai, March 30: Actor, director, and writer Adavi Shesh is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, “Dacait.” During this promotional phase, he expressed that what the world perceives as “intrusive thoughts” is actually a natural and genuine response of the mind.
Adavi Shesh’s statement diverges significantly from conventional thinking. Typically, intrusive thoughts are regarded as unwanted, disturbing, and embarrassing. However, Adavi views them as honest reactions of the mind.
In an exclusive interview, Adavi Shesh stated, “I believe we often wear various shields to protect ourselves from others’ judgments. The truth is, what we consider intrusive thoughts is actually a true thought. It’s unfortunate that we live in a world where we cannot openly express these truths. I am not as brave as those who fearlessly speak the truth.”
There is considerable buzz surrounding Adavi Shesh’s role in the film. He is not only a successful actor but also a thinker and creator.
While discussing “Dacait,” Adavi Shesh shed light on the strength of Telugu cinema. He noted that Telugu cinema stands apart from other film industries in India because it is still not dominated by corporate influence. Films here are produced by individual producers who risk everything—some mortgage their homes, others sell land, and some use their earnings to create films.
Adavi Shesh remarked, “Telugu cinema still has an emotional connection. People stake everything to make a film. That’s why the movies here have a soul.”
The film “Dacait,” produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, is set to release in theaters on April 10.
