Mumbai, April 2: The teaser for the mythological film ‘Ramayana,’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has finally been unveiled. On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the makers shared the first look of the film, igniting excitement among fans. Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor portrays Lord Ram, and his look has been revealed.
The teaser showcases Ranbir Kapoor in an impressive avatar as Lord Ram. His facial expressions, attire, and the intricate details have brought the character to life. The teaser also features Yash as Ravana and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, while Sai Pallavi appears as Sita. Although the film primarily focuses on Lord Ram, glimpses of other characters enhance the story’s thrill.
Ranbir Kapoor expressed that playing the role of Ram has been a humbling experience for him. He stated, “I don’t think I have come to represent Ram. I have come to learn from him. The simplicity and purity in Ram are very rare. Understanding and embracing this has been a humbling experience.”
He added that Ram’s journey is not just a tale of strength or victory, but also a narrative about choices, duties, and morality as a human being.
Director Nitesh Tiwari also shared his thoughts on the teaser’s release. He remarked, “The greatness of Ramayana lies in its emotions and humanity. The music for the film includes contributions from two renowned composers, Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman. Additionally, Hollywood’s top stunt directors, Terry Notary and Guy Norris, have choreographed the battles between gods and demons in the film.
