Uttarakhand CM Dhami Meets Kedarnath Temple Chief to Discuss Pilgrim Safety and Facilities

Dehradun, April 2: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with the chief priest of Kedarnath Temple, Shri Shri Shri 1008 Bhimashankar Ling, on Thursday. During this courtesy visit, the chief priest blessed the Chief Minister and expressed hopes for the prosperity of the state.

CM Dhami welcomed the priest and shared updates on the ongoing reconstruction and development projects at Kedarnath Temple. He emphasized that the state government is continuously working to enhance the convenience and safety of pilgrims.

He also highlighted efforts being made to ensure a smooth and organized upcoming pilgrimage season. The meeting included discussions on necessary preparations in light of the increasing number of devotees and the management of temple operations.

CM Dhami expressed his expectation for guidance from the chief priest for the state’s progress and public welfare. He shared a photo of the meeting on social media platform X, stating, “I welcomed and received blessings from the revered chief priest of Kedarnath Temple. We discussed various spiritual topics, including ongoing reconstruction efforts and the Char Dham Yatra.”

The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is set to commence on April 19, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. There is significant enthusiasm among devotees regarding the pilgrimage, with the registration process having started on March 6.

Earlier, CM Dhami extended greetings to citizens on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, wishing everyone prosperity and courage through the blessings of Lord Hanuman. He also encouraged visitors to the Nainital district to visit the revered Sankat Mochan Temple, known for its spiritual significance and natural beauty.
