Adani and Jabil Forge Strategic Partnership to Establish World-Class AI Data Center Manufacturing in India

Ahmedabad, June 15: Adani Enterprises Limited and global manufacturing giant Jabil announced a strategic partnership on Monday to create a world-class, vertically integrated AI and data center infrastructure manufacturing platform in India.

The companies plan to establish multi-gigawatt high-density AI rack manufacturing capabilities within the country.

According to a company statement, this initiative will utilize advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and complex box-build processes to manufacture next-generation liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, storage, and networking systems. This will address the critical infrastructure needs of global hyperscalers, co-location facilities, and enterprise data centers.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, stated, “The world is entering an intelligent revolution that is deeper than any previous industrial revolution. Nations that master the harmony between energy and computing will shape the coming decade. India is poised to lead in this domain.”

He further emphasized, “Our partnership with Jabil is a significant step towards building a complete AI infrastructure stack in India, encompassing everything from green power generation to world-class hardware manufacturing. Together, we will ensure that in the age of AI, India is not just a consumer but also a creator, builder, and exporter of intelligence.”

This robust partnership aims to directly meet the rapidly growing local and global demand for AI-ready data center hardware.

In addition to computing racks, the partnership includes the manufacturing of a full range of ‘white space’ and ‘gray space’ devices. This encompasses power distribution units (PDUs), coolant distribution units (CDUs), transformers, switchgear, bus bars, and advanced thermal management systems. Adani and Jabil aspire to create an end-to-end, design-to-deployment hardware ecosystem, providing fully integrated solutions to infrastructure developers from a single source.

Mike Dastoor, CEO of Jabil, remarked, “This strategic partnership with the Adani Group is another step in our efforts to create long-term value for customers in the AI ecosystem by delivering scalable solutions throughout the product lifecycle.”

Dastoor added, “As India becomes one of the fastest-growing AI markets globally, the country’s skilled workforce and supportive business environment make it an attractive location for partnerships.”

This initiative aims to capitalize on over $3 trillion in global market opportunities over the next seven years, driven by structural investments in AI computing.

The partnership is directly linked to Adani Group’s commitment to building $100 billion worth of hyper-scale AI-ready data centers powered by 5 gigawatts of green energy by 2035, further strengthening existing collaborations with global technology leaders.

India’s data center market is at a crucial juncture; industry estimates suggest that due to rising AI demand, cloud expansion, and data localization needs, its capacity could reach 5-8 gigawatts by 2030.
