Abhishek Banerjee Faces Criticism from Agnimitra Paul Over DJ Comment

Asansol, June 4: Agnimitra Paul, a minister in the West Bengal government, has targeted both Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee.

Paul stated that whether it is Abhishek, Mamata, or Partha Chatterjee, anyone attempting wrongdoing while in government will face consequences. She criticized Abhishek Banerjee for climbing onto a car’s hood, suggesting he believed he had become a figure like ‘Pushpa.’ He reportedly declared that they would play DJ music after May 4, but now the people of Bengal will play the DJ, which he apparently did not anticipate.

She emphasized that if Abhishek Banerjee has engaged in theft, action will be taken. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, any attempts at wrongdoing will certainly lead to punishment.

Paul also announced a new initiative aimed at improving cleanliness across Bengal. She expressed a desire for more companies to establish themselves in the region, noting that it cannot be achieved by one individual alone. The presence of more companies would make it easier to keep the city clean.

She revealed that starting from September 1 or 2, fines will be imposed throughout West Bengal. Anyone caught littering or dirtying public spaces will be penalized. Citizens will have three months to learn and adopt these new regulations. The central minister has instructed that crowded areas should be swept twice a day.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Jagdish Shettar remarked that anyone who has made mistakes will face punishment. He noted that the government fell due to corruption, leading to public discontent with the TMC, its leaders, and Mamata Banerjee. This discontent was reflected in the BJP’s electoral success. Shettar claimed that the TMC is not a united party and relies heavily on Mamata Banerjee’s family. He predicted that the party is fracturing, with some MLAs already voicing dissent. He believes that the TMC may completely collapse in the coming days.
