AAP Leaders Take on Kejriwals Charter Plane Controversy: Should Leaders Travel by Bullock Cart?

New Delhi, April 2: A prominent educator and former Delhi Assembly candidate from the Aam Aadmi Party, Awadh Ojha, has responded to the controversy surrounding Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann’s travel on a chartered plane.

When questioned about their choice of transportation, Ojha quipped, “Should they travel by bullock cart?” He emphasized that modern transportation and communication methods have been developed to save time. For instance, he noted that traveling by train from here to Guwahati would take approximately 24 hours. In such cases, using an airplane or other efficient means is essential, rather than opting for ostentation.

Ojha stated that if an ordinary person works hard and rises to a higher position, their lifestyle will inevitably change. If he needs to travel quickly, he too would choose faster means of transport. This does not imply that the individual has distanced themselves from the common man.

He asserted that the true king of the country is the common man, and leaders have their responsibilities. If a leader travels on a chartered plane, it is based on necessity. He added that in their personal lives, leaders live just like ordinary citizens.

In response to questions about Kejriwal receiving relief in a liquor scam case, Ojha remarked that considering anyone as a god is misguided and amounts to sycophancy.

He praised Kejriwal as an excellent leader with a remarkable vision. Ojha mentioned that he has spent considerable time in lengthy discussions with Kejriwal on serious issues such as education, industrialization, and infrastructure. He believes Kejriwal could emerge as a future leader of the country as people are gradually recognizing the need for better education and healthcare.

Additionally, Ojha expressed interest in entering Bollywood. He mentioned having good contacts in the film industry and has discussed the possibility of playing a villain’s role with Punit Krishna, the writer of “Mirzapur.” Laughing, he noted that while he might not fit the hero’s role, he could portray a villain effectively.
