AAP Criticizes Central Government Over Technical Issues in CBSE Re-evaluation Portal

New Delhi, June 3: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has targeted the central government over technical issues and payment difficulties encountered in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) re-evaluation portal. Atishi, the leader of the opposition in the Delhi Assembly and an AAP leader, claimed that the negligence of the central government and the Ministry of Education is adversely affecting millions of students and their parents.

Atishi stated that the CBSE launched the re-evaluation portal later than scheduled. Despite this delay, students are facing significant challenges logging in and submitting application fees.

She emphasized that the re-evaluation process is crucial for students following exam results, yet due to the disorganization of the CBSE, thousands of students are unable to apply on time. Atishi also pointed out that the payment facility on the re-evaluation portal is limited to a few select banks—SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Bank. Consequently, students or parents without accounts in these banks are struggling to pay the application fees.

She criticized the government, which claims to promote Digital India, for failing to provide basic online services to students. The opposition leader took aim at Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, stating that his tenure has been marked by continuous mismanagement in various educational matters. She asserted that the issues surrounding the CBSE re-evaluation portal are just another example of this ongoing problem.

Atishi alleged that despite the challenges faced by students and parents, the government has failed to find solutions. She demanded the immediate dismissal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, arguing that the government is avoiding accountability in the face of ongoing administrative failures.

She concluded by stating that any negligence regarding matters affecting the future of the country’s students is unacceptable, urging the government to take immediate action and ensure effective solutions.
