Kushinagar, August 26: A tragic accident in Kushinagar district, Uttar Pradesh, has resulted in the deaths of two college students after a speeding luxury car collided with their scooter. Another student has sustained serious injuries.

The incident occurred on NH-28 in the Tamkuhi Raj police station area as three students were returning home after attending classes at Vidyawati Devi College.

The deceased have been identified as Nisha Giri and Anamika Thakur. Their bodies were recovered from the scene and sent for post-mortem examination.

The third student, Alisha Khatun, suffered severe injuries and was initially taken to a local community health center. Due to her critical condition, she was later referred to Gorakhpur Medical College for further treatment.

Preliminary reports indicate that the luxury car was traveling at high speed when it struck the scooter carrying the three students. The collision proved fatal for two of the students, while Alisha remains in serious condition.
