
Mumbai, June 10: Actor Aamir Khan marked the 25th anniversary of his film “Lagaan,” describing it as a project crafted with faith, passion, and integrity. A special screening of the film will take place at the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) on July 12.
The upcoming festival will feature several special events, including a conversation with Aamir Khan, a reunion of the comedy show “Goodness Gracious Me,” Europe’s first Indian AI and film showcase, and the UK premiere of short films from independent features. These events will be held across five different cities in the UK.
During the closing ceremony, Aamir Khan will participate in a special talk session scheduled for July 16 at BFI Southbank. This event celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Oscar-nominated film “Lagaan.” Khan will share his experiences related to filmmaking during this occasion.
In this special conversation, he will reflect on his career journey, from his debut as a child actor to becoming one of the world’s most successful and beloved actors. Aamir Khan will also discuss his films that effectively highlight social issues alongside entertainment.
