Aam Aadmi Party Ready to Win Punjab Elections 2027 on Honesty and Development: Aman Arora

Mohali, June 15: Punjab Minister Aman Arora has stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is fully prepared for the Punjab Assembly elections in 2027. He emphasized that the party would welcome elections even if they were to be held tomorrow.

During an event in Mohali, Arora highlighted that AAP’s political foundation is built on two core principles: honesty and development. He noted that these values are helping the party strengthen its connection with the public.

Arora pointed out that AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s political vision focuses on serving the people through honest governance and developmental initiatives. He mentioned that development projects in Punjab are progressing rapidly, and the government is operating with complete transparency. This, he believes, positions the party favorably for the upcoming elections.

The minister also criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of misusing central agencies and institutions for political gain over the past 12-13 years, despite lacking public support or a clear mandate.

He warned that such practices weaken democratic institutions and pose a threat to the country’s democracy. Arora affirmed that Kejriwal is fighting against this type of politics, and AAP will continue this struggle.

When asked about electoral support, Arora stated that the biggest test in politics is the election itself. He referred to various elections held so far, including those for sarpanch, block, district councils, municipal corporations, and other local bodies. He claimed that the BJP has not achieved the expected success in these elections and has been rejected by the public.

The event in Mohali, honoring the newly elected AAP mayor, witnessed a large turnout. Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also attended. Party leaders interpreted the significant crowd as a sign of growing public support for AAP in Punjab. Arora concluded that the turnout reflects the party’s strong position in the state and the expectation of widespread public backing in the upcoming assembly elections.
