Udaipur, Aug 12 – Literary organisation Yugdhara will host its 2025 Dhing Award Ceremony on August 14 at 3:30 pm at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed University), under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot.
The annual award series was initiated 21 years ago by Dr. Dilip Dhing at the City Palace to promote Rajasthani, Hindi, and creative literature. Since then, 27 eminent litterateurs have been honoured.
Yugdhara founder Dr. Jyotipunj informed that this year, senior litterateur Pramod Sanadhya will be the chief guest. The Kanhaiyalal Dhing Rajasthani Award will be presented to Madhav Nagda, and the Umraodevi Dhing Sahityodaya Award will be conferred on Meenakshi Panwar. Former District Chief Shantilal Meghwal will grace the event as a special guest. Hemendra Jani and Krishnarjun Parthbhakti will receive the Yugdhara Vishisht Samman.
Additionally, meritorious students Chitranshi Jaroli, Asmita Patel, and Nehal Mehta will be honoured with the Jain Diwakar Silver Medal.
