Mumbai: Actress Youthika Chaudhary is set to appear in the upcoming reality show ‘The 50’. Speaking candidly about the double standards women face in such competitive platforms, she addressed how women’s emotions are often misunderstood as weakness.
Responding to the perception that women are judged more harshly than men for showing vulnerability or emotions, Youthika said, “When women enter the game with complete confidence, they become an unstoppable force and deliver remarkable performances.”
In an interview with a news agency, she added, “When a woman truly plays the game, there is no room left for anyone else. If women fully commit to the game, no one can stand against them; they are incredibly strong.”
Youthika further expressed that she views her participation as representing all women rather than just a personal journey. She said, “I feel the same way. I am here to represent all women and show the world that we can achieve a lot. Just stand up for yourself.”
Known for her roles in films like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘To Baat Pakki!’, Youthika has also worked in the 2009 Kannada film ‘Malayali Jotayali’. She was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 9 in 2015 and later won the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 in 2019 with her husband Prince Narula.
Her recent work includes the film ‘Cyber War’, directed by Ankush Bhatt, where she starred alongside Mohit Malik and Sanaya Irani.
Youthika will be seen once again in a reality show alongside her husband. The couple met on the Bigg Boss 9 set, got engaged in 2018, and married the same year in Mumbai. They have a daughter together.
‘The 50’, a Banijay Asia reality show, will soon stream on Jio Hotstar and Colors. Along with Youthika and Prince Narula, the show features celebrities like Riddhi Dogra, Karan Patel, Mr Faisu, Monalisa, Vikrant Singh, Divya Agarwal, Shiny Doshi, Dushyant Kukreja, Shiv Thakare, Neelam Giri, Dimple Singh, Chahat Pandey, Hamid Barkzi, Sumaira Shaikh, Lavkesh Kataria, Nehal Chudasama, Sapna Choudhary, Nikki Tamboli, Arbaaz Patel, Vanshaj Singh, and Krishna Shroff, among others.
