Mussoorie, June 8: A video showing a young man performing stunts on the roof of a car in the popular tourist destination of Mussoorie has gone viral on social media. In response, local police took immediate action, seizing the red Brezza car involved and filing a complaint against the individual.
The viral footage shows the young man, identified as Shivam from Bhagwanpur, Haridwar, engaging in reckless behavior in a public area. This incident occurred on Mall Road, a bustling spot frequented by numerous tourists. Upon viewing the video, Mussoorie police promptly initiated an investigation.
The police have seized the vehicle under the Motor Vehicle Act and issued a complaint against Shivam under Section 81 of the Police Act. Shivam acknowledged his mistake and apologized to the police. Authorities have warned him that any future incidents of this nature will result in strict legal action.
The Superintendent of Police in Mussoorie stated that their team is continuously monitoring viral incidents on social media, especially during the tourist season. They are enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against traffic violations and disturbances to public peace in sensitive areas like Mall Road.
