
Delhi, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : Early Sunday morning, a young man died under suspicious circumstances after falling from a rooftop in the Gandhi Nagar area of Shahdara, New Delhi. The incident occurred on Namdev Gali, and police received a report at approximately 5:20 AM about a naked man lying on the street with visible head injuries.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the victim, later identified as 30-year-old Deepak from Kishanganj, Bihar. He had been working at a local textile factory for the past two years and was married. Family members learned of the tragedy when police opened the factory for the day.
Niranjan Kumar Singh, Deepak’s brother-in-law, recounted that they were informed by the police that Deepak had fallen from the rooftop and had died. The incident has sparked various discussions within the community, but police have not yet reached any conclusions.
In light of the serious nature of the case, local police called in both the crime team and a forensic unit to gather evidence. They found signs of trauma on Deepak’s body and are currently trying to determine whether his death was accidental or if he was pushed.
The police have sent the body to the morgue for a post-mortem examination, which is expected to provide crucial information regarding the cause of death and the nature of his injuries. Investigators are also reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras and examining other evidence related to the incident.
