Yogi Adityanaths Upcoming Visit to Azamgarh: Security Measures in Place

Mumbai, June 13: The district administration and police department in Azamgarh have nearly completed all preparations for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s upcoming visit. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Anil Kumar confirmed that extensive arrangements have been made at the Maharaja Suheldev University campus, the venue for the Chief Minister’s arrival.

During his visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 75 development projects worth approximately ₹925 crores. He will also review various departmental exhibitions and address a public gathering.

Dr. Anil Kumar stated that adequate police personnel and officials have been deployed to ensure security, traffic management, and crowd control. He emphasized that all preparations are being carried out in accordance with government directives, and any remaining tasks will be completed by tonight.

The District Magistrate informed that a detailed briefing has already been conducted with senior officials, including DIG, SSP, and other police and administrative officers regarding the event. The administration aims to ensure that the entire program runs smoothly and peacefully.

He also mentioned that a special traffic plan has been devised. One-way traffic regulations will be implemented in certain areas. All vehicles will enter through the back gate of the university from Sumbhi village, while exit will be directed towards the main gate leading to the Azamgarh state highway.

The administration has urged the public to adhere to the designated traffic arrangements to avoid any disruptions. This one-way system has been introduced considering the parking situation due to recent rains.

The District Magistrate noted that even minor lapses in a VIP event can affect the smooth execution of the program. Therefore, all aspects are being reviewed in advance, and potential shortcomings are being addressed promptly.
