Witness in Jharkhand Political Murder Shot Dead in Market Shooting

Medininagar, April 3: A late-night shooting in the Shatabdi Market of Medininagar, the headquarters of the Palamu division in Jharkhand, resulted in the death of a young man. The victim has been identified as Mohammad Sameer, also known as Guddu Khalifa, a resident of Kund Mohalla.

According to police reports, Guddu was a key witness in the murder case of JMM leader Ladle Hasan, also known as Laddoo Khan. The main suspect in this incident is Faiz Khan, a resident of Muslim Nagar in the city. The shooting occurred around 11 PM. Eyewitnesses stated that Faiz Khan arrived at Shatabdi Market with accomplices and opened fire on Sameer, hitting him multiple times. The sudden gunfire caused panic in the busy market area.

Local residents rushed the injured Sameer to Medinirai Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. Initial investigations suggest that the murder is linked to old grievances and the witness’s testimony. Faiz Khan has previously served time in prison for the murder of JMM leader Laddoo Khan, in which Sameer was a witness.

Authorities suspect that the shooting was a planned attempt to prevent Sameer from testifying in court. Jyotilal Rajwar, the officer in charge of the city police station, confirmed that an FIR has been filed against Faiz Khan and two unidentified individuals.

Special police teams are actively conducting raids at potential hideouts to apprehend the suspects. Following the incident, security has been heightened in sensitive areas of the city, and police forces have been deployed as a precaution. The shooting in such a crowded area has instilled fear among local businesses and residents. Police officials claim that all suspects will be arrested soon.
