Noida, July 15: The weather in the National Capital Region (NCR) is expected to remain consistent over the next week. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), despite the active monsoon, there is currently no indication of widespread or heavy rainfall in the area. However, intermittent cloud cover, light rain, or drizzle, along with strong winds, may provide some relief from the oppressive heat.
The weather department has not issued any warnings for this period. On July 15, the maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 29 degrees Celsius. The sky is expected to be generally overcast, with chances of light rain or drizzle. Humidity levels are anticipated to range between 63% and 50%.
On July 16, the maximum temperature may remain at 38 degrees, while the minimum could drop to 28 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to be partially cloudy, with humidity levels between 65% and 45%. A slight increase in temperature is forecasted for July 17, with a maximum of 39 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius. The day is also expected to see partial cloud cover.
On July 18, the maximum temperature is predicted to decrease to 36 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius. The weather will generally be cloudy. July 19 is expected to see a maximum temperature of 36 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius, with continued cloud cover. Humidity levels may rise to between 75% and 60%, maintaining a muggy atmosphere. On July 20, the forecast remains similar, with a maximum of 36 degrees and a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius, and the sky will again be mostly cloudy.
Meteorologists note that despite the monsoon’s arrival, the NCR is not experiencing the widespread and continuous rainfall typically expected at this time. Consequently, the daytime heat and humidity will persist. However, the movement of clouds and occasional light showers will offer temporary relief. A slight decrease in temperature is likely, but significant rainfall or drastic temperature drops are not anticipated at this time.
