Trump Claims Iran Seeks Agreement Amidst U.S. Military Pressure

Washington, July 15: U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that Iran is once again willing to negotiate. He stated that Iranian representatives reached out to the U.S., indicating Tehran’s desire for an agreement.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump revealed, “Before the interview at the White House, their representatives had discussions with Iranian officials.”

When asked about his last conversation with an Iranian official, Trump clarified, “I didn’t speak; my representatives did. In fact, the conversation happened just about an hour ago.”

Regarding the message from Iran, Trump stated, “They want to make a deal.”

During the interview, Trump accused Tehran of repeatedly breaking agreements. He expressed skepticism about whether this recent contact would lead to significant outcomes.

Trump emphasized that the U.S. has sent a strong message to Iran, saying, “It would be better for you to make a deal. You have nothing left; no one will be left.”

He further noted, “As you know, we are being very careful regarding civilian populations, but I said to make a deal, or else you will have nothing.”

When questioned if he believes Iran will accept an agreement, Trump replied, “They should. I don’t know if they will.”

He mentioned that a deal had been reached between both parties before tensions escalated, but Iran backed out at the last moment. “We had an agreement, and then they broke it at the last minute,” he said.

The U.S. President also indicated that there is currently no interest in immediate negotiations. “We don’t want to talk right now. As American military pressure increases, Iran has no choice but to return to the negotiating table.”

When asked if Iranian leaders are serious about reaching an agreement, he stated, “I think they have no options.” Trump reiterated that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is America’s top priority.

He concluded that the only effective way to negotiate with Tehran is through military pressure. “The only way to deal with these people is to show military strength.”
