Review of Government Schemes in Churachandpur: Deputy Commissioner Emphasizes Timely Implementation and Coordination

Mumbai, July 15: In Churachandpur district of Manipur, Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar held a review meeting on Tuesday with district-level officials to assess the progress of various development schemes and programs initiated by the central and state governments. The meeting focused on the effective and timely implementation of these initiatives.

The conference was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), district-level officials from various departments, the Lead District Manager (LDM) of the State Bank of India (SBI), and other relevant department staff.

During the meeting, each department presented brief reports on their respective schemes, highlighting progress, achievements, innovations, and future goals. Officials provided updates on the implementation status of various government schemes and the efforts being made to deliver benefits to the public.

Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar stressed the need for better coordination among departments, stating that all sectors must collaborate to expedite development projects. He urged officials to prioritize transparency, accountability, and mutual cooperation to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach eligible individuals on time.

He also advised officials to adopt new methodologies and innovations, suggesting that successful models developed in certain areas should be implemented in other parts of the district. Furthermore, he directed that the effective implementation of development plans should be ensured across all sub-divisions, so no community is deprived of the benefits of government initiatives.

The Deputy Commissioner called on officials to be accountable for their work and to complete all projects within the set deadlines. He emphasized that timely and quality work is the hallmark of good governance.

The meeting also addressed health-related issues. The Deputy Commissioner urged officials to actively participate in the ‘Nikshay Mitra’ initiative under the central government’s ‘TB Free India Campaign.’ He highlighted that the involvement of all departments and society is crucial to achieving the goal of tuberculosis elimination.
