
Raipur, May 9: The Women and Child Development Department (WCD) in Raipur has issued an official notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for various positions on a contractual basis, including paramedical staff. A total of eight positions are available across different departments.
The positions announced by WCD include Legal Probation Officer (DCPU), Outreach Worker (DCPU), Assistant cum Computer Operator (CWC), Child Welfare Officer/Care Worker (Government Boys Home, Mana Camp), Child Welfare Officer/Care Worker (Government Girls Home, Mana Camp), Counselor (Government Girls Home, Mana Camp), Housekeeper (Government Girls Home, Mana Camp), and Paramedical Staff (Government Girls Home, Mana Camp), with one vacancy for each role.
The offline application process commenced on May 4, and the deadline for submissions is set for May 18. Candidates interested in applying are advised to submit their registration forms by 5 PM on the final date.
Applicants must possess qualifications relevant to the positions, including a degree in Law, a one-year diploma/certificate in Computer from a recognized institution, and graduation in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Law/Social Sciences/Public Health/Counseling, along with a PG Diploma in Counseling and Communication, ANM/MPW, or a nursing training certificate from an approved institution.
Additionally, candidates must be proficient in MS Office/computer/web-based software and have a typing speed of 8,000 depressions per hour in Hindi and English, along with strong communication skills.
The minimum age for candidates is set at 21 years, while the maximum age is capped at 35 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on the scrutiny of applications, academic qualifications, experience, merit list, shortlisting, personal interviews/skill tests, and the final qualification list, followed by a waiting list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary/stipend ranging from ₹10,592 to ₹27,804, depending on the position.

The application form provided in the notification should be downloaded and printed. All required information must be filled in the form.
Candidates should attach all requested documents with their application. After placing everything in an envelope, it should be mailed to the address: District Program Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Old Police Headquarters Campus, next to Employment Office, near Raj Bhavan, Gadi Chowk, Raipur. It is also advisable to keep a hard copy of the application for future reference.
