Wave of Change in Bengal: Public Chooses PM Modis Vision, Says Chirag Paswan

Patna, April 28: Political activity is reaching a peak in West Bengal as the second phase of assembly elections approaches on April 29. NDA leaders have targeted the Mamata government, asserting that a BJP government is on the horizon. The results will be clear by May 4.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan spoke to reporters, stating, “This time, I believe that after a long period, the trends emerging from the Bengal elections clearly indicate that the people of Bengal have voted for a change in government, supporting a government based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.”

He noted that the people of Bengal have suffered under the current Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s leadership, citing issues such as violence, corruption, and authoritarianism. The public has expressed their discontent through their votes this time.

In response to Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, Paswan said, “The way the Leader of the Opposition attempts to defame Bihar in other states, he has no right to use such language against anyone. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, our NDA government is moving forward with the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, Development for all).”

Regarding the assembly elections in West Bengal, LJP (R) MP Arun Bharti emphasized that voters should be mindful of whom they are voting for. He urged the public to remember the incidents that have occurred in Bengal and to vote for a government that promotes development.

On the Bihar government’s decision to make the national anthem and national song mandatory in government schools and offices, he remarked, “This has been our old tradition. During the freedom struggle, the national anthem and song inspired courage and patriotism among freedom fighters. If this tradition is being promoted to unite the country and state, it should be welcomed.”

JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha stated, “The atmosphere in Bengal appears to be in favor of the NDA. People are overcoming their fears and are ready to vote this time.”
