Violence Erupts During Wedding Procession in Mathura; Elderly Woman Injured

Mathura, May 21: A wedding procession in Narhauli village turned chaotic due to a dispute, leading to a violent stone-pelting incident. According to police reports, the incident occurred on Wednesday as a wedding procession was making its way through Narhauli village in the Highway police jurisdiction. Tensions escalated after a verbal disagreement at a nearby shop, which quickly transformed into a physical confrontation. As the conflict intensified, both sides began throwing stones, resulting in injuries to an elderly woman from the shopkeeper’s side. Following the incident, police have taken five individuals into custody.
