
Mumbai, September 30 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Vamika Gabbi recently shared glimpses of her birthday celebration on social media, marking the occasion with friends and loved ones. She posted photos and videos on Instagram, describing this moment as a “new beginning.” Vamika expressed feeling surrounded by love from the birthday wishes she received.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, “A blurry night with my people… among all the things that have made this place my home and are now packed in boxes.”
She continued, “It feels like the right time for a new beginning. I want to understand myself, those around me, and the people I have yet to meet better. I’m dancing with an open heart… because there’s nothing in my hands, so let’s dance. Thank you all for your love and birthday wishes… I feel so much love.”
Vamika made her screen debut as a child artist in the 2007 Hindi film “Jab We Met,” where she had a small role. She later carved out a niche in Punjabi cinema with films like “Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22,” “Nikka Zaildar 2,” and “Nikka Zaildar 3.” Her performance in the crime drama “Kali Jotta” was also well-received.
She has since worked in films across different languages, including the Tamil romantic film “Malai Neerathu Mayakkam” and the Malayalam sports drama “Godha.”
In terms of Hindi projects, Vamika appeared in the web series “Jubilee,” a period drama, and was featured in Vishal Bhardwaj’s thriller film “Khufiya.” She has also been part of films like “Bhool Chook Maaf,” “Bhoot Bangla,” and “Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.”
Currently, she is in the spotlight for her upcoming film “Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam.” Directed by Avinash Arun, this Hindi film stars Rajkummar Rao, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikandar Kher in key roles. The film is a biopic based on the life of renowned lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, who represented the case against terrorist Ajmal Kasab during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
