Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Highlights Development Initiatives Under PM Modis Guidance

Lucknow, March 30: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, the vision of ‘Antyodaya to Sarvodaya’ is being realized in the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’. He emphasized the importance of nurturing children, empowering women, and fulfilling the dreams of the youth. On Monday, CM Yogi will present significant gifts to the state’s Anganwadi workers and students.

At an event held at Lok Bhawan around 11 AM, the Chief Minister will distribute smartphones to Anganwadi workers. Additionally, a program at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan will see CM Yogi distribute scholarships to students at approximately 4 PM.

Prior to the events, CM Yogi shared a post on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, the vision of ‘Antyodaya to Sarvodaya’ is being realized in the ‘New India’ and ‘New Uttar Pradesh’. Today, our Anganwadi sisters will receive a combination of technology, resources, and respect, empowering both service and sensitivity.”

He further added, “Through scholarships and family benefit assistance, support, respect, and opportunities will be provided to students and needy families. A strong Anganwadi system, nourished childhood, secure women, empowered youth, and welfare for the poor are the firm commitments of the double-engine government.”

On Monday, CM Yogi will transfer funds for scholarships and family benefit schemes through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). According to the state’s Minister for Backward Classes Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Narendra Kashyap, approximately ₹3350 crores will be disbursed to the bank accounts of 27,99,982 students in classes 9-10 and post-10th grade.

Minister Kashyap noted that among the beneficiaries, 6,68,707 Scheduled Caste students will receive ₹467.94 crores, 4,95,793 General category students will get ₹779.10 crores, 13,52,357 Other Backward Class students will receive ₹1838.59 crores, 2,75,889 Minority students will get ₹252.76 crores, and 7,236 Scheduled Tribe students will receive ₹11.61 crores.
