UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Urges Officials to Ensure Welfare Schemes Reach Every Needy Citizen

Gorakhpur, June 2: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials during a public meeting on Tuesday to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen. He emphasized that the government has numerous programs available, ranging from housing and healthcare to education and pensions for the elderly and orphans. All eligible individuals should be encouraged to apply for these benefits.

Arriving in Gorakhpur late Monday evening, Chief Minister Adityanath met with around 200 people at Gorakhnath Temple during the public meeting on Tuesday morning. He provided heartfelt support to those in need, assuring them of assistance with housing and financial aid for treating serious illnesses.

He stated that the government is committed to ensuring that every needy and eligible person benefits from welfare schemes and that all issues are resolved effectively. He urged citizens to apply for these programs.

Adityanath also instructed officials to ensure that every eligible individual applies for the relevant schemes. He directed administrative and police officers to address the petitions submitted by attendees promptly and fairly, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner. Officials were urged to respond sensitively to public concerns.

During the meeting, some individuals sought financial assistance for medical treatment. The Chief Minister reassured them that no one would be denied treatment due to lack of funds. He instructed officials to expedite the preparation of estimates for high-level medical treatment for those in need, assuring that the government would provide funds immediately upon receipt of the estimates.

A woman from Jaunpur district accused an NGO of issuing fraudulent certificates and requested an investigation. In response, the Chief Minister directed officials to investigate the matter and take necessary action. He also instructed police to take strict action against any individuals attempting to illegally occupy land.

The Chief Minister interacted warmly with children who attended the meeting with their families, encouraging them to study hard and giving them chocolates as a gesture of goodwill.

During his stay at Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also engaged in cow service at the temple’s cow shelter, lovingly feeding the cows with jaggery and bread. He instructed the staff to ensure proper care of the cattle.
