Patna, September 20 (Daily Kiran) : Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inaugurated the Love-Kush Talent Award ceremony on Sunday at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna. During the event, he honored outstanding talents from various fields and shared his thoughts on Bihar’s rich heritage, education, culture, and development.
Chaudhary highlighted the social and political journey of the Love-Kush community. He recalled the first Kurmi Chetna Rally and Kushwaha Conference held in 1992, 1993, and 1994, which later evolved into the Love-Kush Conference. He congratulated the leaders who initiated this movement, noting its political significance developed post-1994 through the Samata Party and Janata Dal (United).
The Chief Minister stressed the need to realize the vision of a developed India and a prosperous Bihar. He remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed to a developed India, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar envisions a prosperous Bihar. Chaudhary asserted that the Love-Kush community is not against anyone; rather, it seeks to pave the way for Bihar’s prosperity with justice.
He also reflected on Bihar’s historical glory, mentioning figures like Chandragupta Maurya, Emperor Ashoka, and the legacy of Nalanda. Chaudhary claimed that significant portions of the ancient Nalanda site remain to be excavated, symbolizing Bihar’s ancient civilization and knowledge tradition.
The CM discussed the transformation of Bihar’s economy, noting the challenges faced after the bifurcation with Jharkhand. However, since 2005, he stated, there have been substantial changes in the state’s economy and infrastructure. He pointed out that Bihar’s budget is now nearly double that of Jharkhand.
Chaudhary also highlighted advancements in education, announcing the establishment of new degree colleges and 700 model schools in the state. He introduced the ‘Vidarthi Saathi App,’ which connects 75,000 teachers to provide support to students studying at night.
Plans for tourism and cultural heritage development were also mentioned, including the development of a grand corridor in Bodh Gaya and the construction of a Love-Kush park in Valmikinagar, costing around ₹60 crores.
The Chief Minister emphasized that collective effort is essential for Bihar’s prosperity. He used the analogy of fingers, stating that while they may not be equal, they symbolize strength when united as a fist. Chaudhary assured that the government would move forward with all communities for the glory, prosperity, and development of Bihar.
