Trump Reveals Secret Military Operations in Hormuz Strait to Stabilize Global Oil Markets

Washington, June 12: President Donald Trump has disclosed that the United States has been conducting secret military operations in and around the Hormuz Strait for several weeks. This initiative has contributed to the relative stability of the global oil market.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump noted that these operations largely went unnoticed, allowing the global energy supply to continue smoothly amid rising tensions in the Gulf region.

He stated that the Hormuz Strait would be fully open once a deal is signed, possibly as soon as Saturday or Monday.

Trump asserted that the U.S. military has been significantly active in the area. He claimed that the Hormuz Strait has remained open for months, although this information was not widely known. “We have moved many ships through there, transporting millions of barrels of oil. No one could stop it,” he said.

According to Trump, the U.S. military has taken action against Iranian vessels multiple times over the past month. He mentioned that they have been targeting ships during nighttime operations, focusing on radar systems and other maritime resources.

“We bombed their radars and other equipment so they wouldn’t even know what was happening,” he explained.

The President emphasized that this is why the global oil market has remained relatively stable, despite fears of disruptions in this crucial oil route. “The market couldn’t understand how it was so open and normal,” he added.

Trump indicated that once an official agreement with Iran is signed, maritime restrictions related to the conflict would be lifted. When asked if the U.S. would immediately remove blockades after the deal, he confirmed, “Yes, that’s correct. It’s part of the agreement.”

The Hormuz Strait connects the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. It is one of the world’s most vital energy routes, used by major oil and gas-producing countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, and Qatar for their exports.

Trump stated that the proposed agreement with Iran would bring greater stability to the region and reduce uncertainty in maritime trade. He claimed, “We have an agreement that will ensure Iran never develops nuclear weapons.” He described this deal as a significant diplomatic achievement.
