New Delhi, July 20: The nation is paying homage to the great revolutionary and symbol of courage and patriotism, Batukeshwar Dutt, on his death anniversary. Prominent leaders, including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, have also paid their respects to Dutt.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla shared a post on social media platform ‘X’, stating, “On the death anniversary of the immortal revolutionary and great patriot Batukeshwar Dutt, I pay my humble tribute to a man who dedicated everything for India’s freedom.”
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh posted on ‘X’, “I pay tribute to the great revolutionary and freedom fighter Batukeshwar Dutt on his death anniversary. A true nationalist with a courageous spirit, Dutt fought against injustice and colonial rule. Inspired by his ideals, we will continue to work for the development and prosperity of this great nation.”
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah expressed, “I bow down to the great freedom fighter and immortal revolutionary Batukeshwar Dutt on his death anniversary. Dutt, alongside Bhagat Singh, ignited the flame of freedom across the country by throwing bombs in the Central Assembly against British injustice. Even after enduring the harsh tortures of Kalapani, he remained steadfast in his resolve for independence and raised a strong voice against British oppression while fighting for the rights of prisoners. His courage, sacrifice, and dedication will always inspire the youth.”
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari also paid his respects on ‘X’, stating, “I humbly salute the great patriot revolutionary Batukeshwar Dutt on his death anniversary.”
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, “I pay my heartfelt respects to the unparalleled servant of Mother India, the great revolutionary Batukeshwar Dutt, on his death anniversary. Your extraordinary struggle and contribution for the freedom of our motherland will forever instill the spirit of nationalism in future generations.”
