
Mumbai, May 26: The ambitious Prime Minister‘s Housing Scheme has proven to be a blessing for the residents of Mohla-Manpur, a district in the forested region of Chhattisgarh. Once plagued by leaking roofs and inadequate housing, the lives of these villagers are now witnessing a significant transformation.
Beneficiaries have expressed that the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme has provided them with sturdy roofs over their heads. Additionally, initiatives like the Ujjwala Scheme, toilet construction, and other welfare programs have significantly improved their quality of life. Villagers have thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that the benefits of government schemes have reached every corner of their villages.
In the forested area of Mohla-Manpur, numerous families have experienced a complete turnaround in their lives due to the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. Previously living in mud and thatched houses, these villagers now enjoy the security of permanent homes. They shared that during the rainy season, their homes would leak, forcing them to stay awake all night. Now, with solid houses, families feel safe and content.
Residents reported that they are continuously benefiting from various government schemes. The Ujjwala Scheme has provided them with gas connections, while the Swachh Bharat Mission has facilitated toilet construction, offering them the opportunity to live with dignity. Beneficiaries stated that these government initiatives have painted a new picture of development in their villages.
Villagers praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, stating that India has gained a new identity on the global stage. They emphasized that the government’s schemes are reaching those in need directly, illuminating the path of development even in rural and forested areas.
One beneficiary, a woman, shared her experience, saying, “My house was dilapidated before. Thanks to the PM Housing Scheme, it is now a solid structure. The government has created many schemes for the poor. Earlier, we had no information about these programs, but now everything is accessible from home. I am very grateful to PM Modi for these welfare initiatives.” She commended Modi’s 12-year tenure, highlighting his commitment to the underprivileged.
Another beneficiary, Pramod Yadav, recounted his past living conditions, stating, “I used to live in a temporary house where rainwater would leak in. However, with the central government‘s scheme, I now have a permanent home. This is a fantastic initiative. Schemes like the PM Housing Scheme, Matarani Scheme, Ujjwala Scheme, and toilet construction are providing immense benefits to the poor.”
