Mumbai, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Parineeti Chopra stars in the upcoming thriller film ‘Reporting Live,’ which delves into the dangerous world of illegal sand mining and the powerful sand mafia. The film’s trailer was released on Saturday, providing a glimpse into a dark underbelly where the cost of uncovering the truth can be life-threatening.
The 2-minute, 2-second trailer reveals a gripping narrative. After a fatal accident, an ambitious reporter, played by Chopra, along with her cameraman, portrayed by Deven Bhojani, begins to ask tough questions that those in power would prefer to avoid. As they dig deeper into the issue, they find themselves in increasingly perilous situations.
Each answer they uncover leads to new questions, and with every clue, a new threat emerges.
Directed by Dhruv Tripathi, this marks his debut feature film. The cast also includes notable actors Amol Palekar, Adil Hussain, and Shekhar Suman in significant roles.
Written by Mihir Jadhav and Dhruv Tripathi, ‘Reporting Live’ is produced by Parth Kiran Thakur and Joshua Shirasat. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting October 9.
In her first role as a journalist, Parineeti Chopra expressed her excitement about the character. “This year marks my second collaboration with Netflix in the thriller genre, but in a new avatar.
