Patna, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood actress Yami Gautam Dhar visited Patna Sahib Gurudwara to seek blessings ahead of her film “Nayi Naveli,” set to release on October 16. The actress was warmly welcomed by fans in Patna as she celebrated the success of the film’s promotions.
During her visit, Yami took a moment to offer gratitude and pray for the film’s success. The atmosphere was lively, with crowds gathering to greet her, accompanied by traditional drum beats.
Yami also shared her experiences from the set, particularly about filming the energetic song “Bhabhi Tabahi.” She recalled facing a significant dance challenge on her first day, where she had to master six distinct dance styles, ranging from vibrant Bhangra steps to the Moonwalk.
She humorously mentioned how director Balaji Mohan casually encouraged her on that first day, saying, “Just do what feels right, but make sure to include a little Moonwalk!” Although surprised, she enjoyed rising to the challenge.
The recently released trailer for “Nayi Naveli” introduces the story of a new bride who brings joy and peace to a troubled household in Meerut. However, her brother-in-law begins to suspect that his seemingly perfect sister-in-law may actually be a “witch.” The film blends elements of family comedy with fantasy adventure.
This project marks the Bollywood directorial debut of Tamil filmmaker Balaji Mohan. Written by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma, the film is produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma. “Nayi Naveli” is scheduled for release just before Dussehra on October 16.
