Mumbai, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Ishita Dixit, who has portrayed the character ‘Pari’ on the popular series ‘Anupamaa’ for the past two years, expressed her joy and gratitude for this significant milestone. She described the experience as a major achievement in her career.
Reflecting on her journey, Ishita stated, “Completing two years with a show as big as ‘Anupamaa’ is a huge accomplishment for me. I am incredibly thankful and happy. I will always be grateful to Rajan Shahi for giving me this opportunity, as my life has changed completely since ‘Anupamaa’ began.”
Ishita noted that when she first took on the role of ‘Pari’, she was a different person, and she has since undergone substantial personal growth. “I have learned a lot during this journey. I am genuinely happy with the growth I have shown over these two years. I feel completely different now, not just as ‘Pari’ but also as an artist. Working alongside so many senior actors has allowed me to learn continuously from their techniques and performances,” she shared.
She described her experience on the show as wonderful and expressed hope that it continues for a long time. “Let’s see how long ‘Pari’ and I stay together, but honestly, I would love for this journey to last as long as possible because I want to portray ‘Pari’ for as long as I can,” she added.
Ishita also reflected on how the character has become an integral part of her life. “After playing a role for so many years, sometimes you forget what real life is and what reel life is. Initially, I would say in interviews that there was no similarity between ‘Pari’ and me. But after two years, I feel we have developed many similarities,” she remarked.
Concluding her thoughts, Ishita noted, “Somewhere along the line, the difference between my real self and ‘Pari’ has started to blur because I have been with her for so long. There are traits and emotions she experiences that I now feel resonate with me, making me realize that perhaps I am a little like ‘Pari’ after all.”
