Kalaburagi, May 23: A devastating road accident occurred in the Kalaburagi district of Karnataka, resulting in the deaths of five family members. The collision involved a cruiser vehicle and a truck, taking place near Ladlapur in the Chittapur taluka.
According to reports, late Friday night, family members from the village of Ingali were returning from Yadgir when their cruiser collided head-on with a truck on the national highway near Ladlapur. The impact was so severe that all five occupants of the cruiser—Tolusab Keshwar (27), Hussain Shah (48), Maibub Ali (45), Rasool B (42), and Fatima Ali (38)—died at the scene.
Local residents rushed to the site upon hearing the crash, and the police were notified immediately. Authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations and have initiated an investigation. Senior police officials also inspected the accident site.
The family was returning home after admitting an ill relative to a hospital in Yadgir. Tragically, as they approached Ladlapur, their vehicle collided with an oncoming truck.
Witnesses reported that local residents quickly arrived at the scene and alerted the police. The deceased were extricated from the vehicle and sent to the government hospital for post-mortem. The Ingali village community is in mourning, shocked by the loss of so many family members at once. Friends and relatives are visiting the family to offer condolences. A case has been registered at the Wadgi police station, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
