Tragic Office Incident in Mohali: Woman Stabbed to Death, Attacker Attempts Suicide

Mohali, June 5: A shocking incident has occurred in Mohali, Punjab, where a woman employee was fatally stabbed at a private office located in Phase 11. Reports indicate that a young man attacked his female colleague with a knife. Following the assault, the attacker attempted to take his own life. Both individuals were rushed to the hospital; however, the woman succumbed to her injuries, while the attacker remains under medical care.

According to sources, the assailant, identified as Harjinder Singh Mann, allegedly launched a sudden knife attack on his female colleague. Witnesses attempted to intervene, but the attacker threatened them while continuing his assault.

The entire incident was captured on the office’s CCTV cameras. The footage shows the assailant attacking the woman, who tried to escape but was pursued and repeatedly stabbed.

After the attack, the assailant also attempted suicide. Both were immediately transported to the hospital, where the woman died from her injuries. The attacker is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.

Preliminary information suggests that both individuals had been working at the same company for the past three years. Harjinder Singh Mann is reported to be a resident of Rattan Nagar in Patiala.

The police investigating the case have found initial indications that this incident may be linked to a romantic relationship between the two. They both worked for a private courier company. However, the police have not yet made any official confirmation regarding this aspect.

Sources indicate that the two had previously shared a close relationship, which later ended. It is suggested that the attacker was unable to accept this change. The true motive behind the incident will only be revealed after a thorough police investigation.
