Tragic Collision in Bihar: Three Killed, Two Injured in Car-Bike Crash

Banka, April 4: A devastating collision between a car and a motorcycle in the Jalebiya Mor area of Banka district, Bihar, resulted in the deaths of three motorcyclists on Saturday. Reports indicate that two to three passengers in the car sustained injuries.

According to a police officer, the incident occurred near the village of Bijjikhairwa. Eyewitnesses claim both vehicles were traveling at high speeds when they collided head-on. The severity of the crash is evident, as the three young men on the motorcycle died at the scene, and the bike was completely destroyed. The car overturned into a nearby ditch.

The deceased have been identified as Surendra Sah, Rupesh Sah, and Baleshwar Sah, all residents of the Odhni OP area. This tragic accident took place on the Deoghar-Sultanganj road. The car passengers were reportedly returning to Deoghar after visiting the Ajgaibidhama temple in Sultanganj, and they are believed to be from Garhwa district in Jharkhand.

Rajoo Thakur, the station chief of Jalebiya Mor, stated that police arrived promptly at the scene, took possession of the bodies for post-mortem examinations, and transported the injured to a local hospital. The deceased are said to be from the same family, and the news has cast a pall of grief over the village. Family members are in deep mourning. Following the accident, traffic on the route was severely disrupted, but it was restored after considerable effort.
