Varanasi, April 4: Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar has openly criticized the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) in response to its opposition to the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He also discussed issues related to LPG and the impact of global conflicts.
Kumar stated that the Muslim Personal Law Board lacks official status, describing it as a private entity created by a few individuals. He pointed out that the board has lost in court, indicating that the Muslim community does not support it. “If the board is not beneficial for Muslims, then others need not concern themselves with it,” he said. He emphasized that Muslims in India desire peace and development, asserting that the country cannot progress with such extremism.
Addressing the ongoing fuel crisis, Kumar acknowledged that global conflicts involving Russia, Ukraine, the United States, Iran, and Israel have led to challenges worldwide. However, he asserted that India has managed to avoid any oil shortages, whether from Iran, Russia, or other sources.
“The opposition is spreading falsehoods,” Kumar remarked. “India has not faced any oil shortages, and prices have actually decreased. There is no visible crisis, and the opposition should refrain from inciting the public. If there are any issues, they should suggest improvements to the government instead of provoking the populace.”
On the upcoming West Bengal elections, Kumar criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming she has no genuine connection with the state’s voters and is directly threatening them. This behavior indicates that the TMC leader is unwilling to maintain relationships with the electorate.
