Final Round of Counting to Be Conducted on Tuesday
Chittorgarh, 28 July : The third phase of counting donations from the treasury (bhandar) of the revered Sanwaliya Seth Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna in Mewar, has been completed. So far, offerings worth ₹18 crore 13 lakh 25 thousand have been counted across the three completed phases.

The temple treasury was opened on Chaturdashi after the Rajbhog Aarti of Thakurji. During the first phase of counting, ₹7.15 crore was recorded. Due to Amavasya, the counting was temporarily halted. In the second phase, ₹3.35 crore was counted. The counting process was again paused on Sunday due to heavy footfall of devotees.
On Monday, the third phase was conducted, during which ₹7 crore 63 lakh 25 thousand was collected from the temple treasury. The final total of the three completed phases stands at ₹18.13 crore. The remaining amount will be counted in the fourth phase on Tuesday.
Officials Present During the Counting
The Monday counting session was overseen by key officials including Shri Sanwaliya Ji Mandir Mandal Board President Hazaridas Vaishnav, Board Member Pawan Tiwari, Naib Tehsildar and First Administrative Officer Shivshankar Pareek, Second Administrative Officer and Accountant Rajendra Singh, Property and Temple Arrangement In-Charge Bhairugiri Goswami, Security In-Charge Gulab Singh, Establishment In-Charge Lehrilal Gadari, Senior Assistant Kalulal Teli, and Store In-Charge Manohar Sharma. Staff from regional banks also participated in the process.
Gold and Silver Still to Be Weighed
The weighing of gold and silver received in the treasury is still pending. Additionally, in the temple’s donation office, the counting of cash received via money order and weighing of gold and silver offered by devotees is yet to be completed.
