Balbir Singh Sidhu Urges Raghav Chadha to Apologize to Arvind Kejriwal

Firozpur, April 5: Punjab’s Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu has criticized Raghav Chadha for failing to raise Punjab’s issues in Parliament. He advised Chadha to apologize to Arvind Kejriwal and the party.

In a conversation, Minister Sidhu stated, “Raghav Chadha is like a son to me. We have worked together for a long time. We were both part of the Anna Hazare movement. During Arvind Kejriwal’s first term as Chief Minister, he was arrested. The court has made it clear that he was falsely implicated. Moreover, the country’s best Health Minister, Manish Sisodia, was also imprisoned on false charges. Yet, Raghav Chadha did not even post anything on social media in protest.”

He continued, “Raghav was elected by the people of Punjab. Therefore, he should have vigorously raised issues related to the GST revenue deficit or the financial losses faced by Punjab. He should have questioned the central government regarding the lack of economic assistance for flood relief in Punjab, but he did not. Raghav Chadha has betrayed both the party and the people of Punjab.”

Balbir Singh emphasized, “Raghav Chadha should apologize to Arvind Kejriwal and work for the party that sent him to the Rajya Sabha. We all respected Raghav, but now he must listen to us and apologize. If he does not apologize, how will he face the people of Punjab after his term ends?”

Regarding the spread of disease in Punjab, Balbir Singh stated, “We have always stood by the people in difficult times. The disease known as leptospirosis spreads from animals and through contaminated water. From day one, we have been working to control it. Today, I personally visited the area to assess the situation. We have successfully managed to control the disease. Vaccinations for animals are underway, medicines are being distributed, and gloves are being provided. We are also raising awareness about hygiene and cleanliness.”
