Tamil Film Arivu Transforms Government School After Shooting in Munnar

Chennai, April 5: The highly anticipated Tamil film ‘Arivu,’ directed by Sathya Shiva, has completed its first shooting schedule in Munnar. Alongside filming, the crew undertook the renovation of a local government school, much to the delight of the community.

According to sources connected to the film, some scenes were shot at a government school in a place called Lechmi, near Ottapara. During their time there, the film unit noticed that the school lacked adequate basic facilities for students. Producer Sai Vinod Jayakumar promptly decided to take action to improve the school’s amenities.

Media reports indicate that the producer has renovated the entire building and provided drinking water facilities for the students. This initiative has been well-received by the students and local residents. After wrapping up the first phase of shooting in Munnar, the unit is now filming its second schedule in Theni.

The film ‘Arivu’ will showcase a powerful social narrative centered on women’s rights. Alongside Vijay Kumar and actress Kayal Anandhi, the cast includes I M Vijayan, Deepa Shankar, and Singham Puli in significant roles. Sathya Shiva, known for addressing impactful social themes in his vibrant cinematic style, has penned the story and screenplay.

Produced under the banner of Sai Vinod Jayakumar Movietron Productions, the film’s music is composed by D. Imman, while the acting direction is handled by Tree Krishnan. The team has selected top talents in every aspect to ensure the film’s excellence. It is reported that the shooting is set to conclude before April 14, coinciding with Tamil New Year. However, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the first look of the film.
