Telangana Formation Day Celebrated with Warm Wishes from Leaders

New Delhi, June 2: On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, several prominent leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, extended their greetings to the people of the state. Amit Shah emphasized that Telangana plays a crucial role in the nation’s progress due to its unique culture and exceptional industrial capabilities.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Amit Shah stated, “On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all the people of the state. With its distinct culture and remarkable industrial potential, Telangana significantly contributes to the nation’s advancement. I am hopeful that this state will continue to reach new heights of development and elevate India’s dignity and reputation even further.”

Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also conveyed his wishes, saying, “On Telangana Formation Day, I send my warm greetings to the people of the state. Today, I pay my heartfelt tribute to the martyrs, activists, students, intellectuals, and countless citizens whose sacrifices and determination paved the way for the formation of Telangana.”

He further added, “The soul of Telangana resides in the colors of Bathukamma, the devotion of Bonalu, the enduring legacy of the Samakka-Saralamma Medaram Jatara, and the rich folk and literary traditions that have shaped our identity for generations. These cherished traditions embody our people’s courage, resilience, and cultural pride, connecting us across generations. As we celebrate this day, let us reaffirm our commitment to building a ‘developed Telangana’ that fulfills the aspirations of every citizen.”

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan remarked, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all Telangana residents on the formation day of this state, rich in unique art, culture, heritage, and natural beauty. May Telangana continue on the path of development and progress, bringing happiness, prosperity, and well-being to all brothers and sisters.”

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Prataprao Jadhav also extended his wishes on Telangana Formation Day. He posted, “On this occasion, I wish all residents of the state a very happy Telangana Formation Day. I hope this sacred land, enriched with its unique culture and magnificent natural beauty, continues to advance steadily on the path of progress and touches new heights.”

Meanwhile, the Congress party, through its official ‘X’ handle, posted, “On Telangana Formation Day, we salute the spirit and resilience of India’s youngest state. The Congress family honors the people of the state and reaffirms its commitment to upholding harmony, constitutional values, and the identity that truly makes this state unique.”
