Fire Erupts at Avantika-2 Apartments, All Residents Rescued

Ghaziabad, June 2: A massive fire broke out early Tuesday morning at the Avantika-2 Apartments in the Kotwali police station area of Ghaziabad, causing panic among residents. The blaze started around 3:09 AM in flat number 202 on the third floor. Upon receiving the alarm, the fire department and local police quickly arrived on the scene to initiate rescue operations.

Firefighters discovered that several individuals were trapped on the upper floors. They promptly broke down the main gate, began extinguishing the flames, and used ladders to safely evacuate those trapped inside. Thanks to the swift action of the fire department, all residents were rescued. Unfortunately, three pet dogs were found dead inside the flat due to smoke inhalation during the incident.

After considerable effort, the fire department managed to fully control the blaze. However, the fire resulted in significant damage, destroying valuables worth lakhs of rupees. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal Singh reported that the Kotwali police station received the alert about the fire at flat number 202 in the Avantika-2 society around 3:09 AM. Immediately, two fire tenders and local police personnel were dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, the team found people trapped inside the flat. They acted quickly to break down the main gate, extinguish the fire, and safely bring all individuals down using ladders. After the fire was brought under control, it was discovered that three pet dogs had succumbed to smoke inhalation. The fire has been fully extinguished, and further investigations are underway to determine the cause.
