Hyderabad, August 23: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao announced on Sunday that the state is emerging as a space tech hub by promoting startups.
On the occasion of ‘National Space Day,’ Rao extended his greetings to scientists, engineers, and technical experts. He congratulated all those who have enhanced India’s reputation in the field of space through their remarkable scientific achievements.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister stated, “With the success of Chandrayaan-3, India has showcased its scientific and technological prowess by stepping into the southern polar region of the moon. These achievements are the result of years of hard work, dedication, and continuous research. I sincerely congratulate everyone who contributed to this significant milestone.”
He encouraged the youth to take steps towards innovation, saying, “They should dream big and pursue those dreams with determination until they become a reality. Science is our strength, innovation is our future, and space should be our next destination.”
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also acknowledged the scientists. He remarked, “From dreams seen in the sky to historic milestones on the moon, India’s space journey is a story of vision, courage, and scientific excellence. On ‘National Space Day,’ we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of ISRO and our scientists. The historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 and the exploration of the sun by Aditya-L1, along with impressive SPADEx docking demonstrations, are opening new possibilities for India’s future in space.”
He noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, India’s space sector has entered a new era. Reforms, increased participation from the private sector, and institutions like ISRO are creating a robust ecosystem for startups, industry, researchers, and young innovators to contribute to our national space goals. With Gaganyaan paving the way for India’s first human spaceflight and the development of the ‘Indian Space Station’ under our long-term ‘Space Vision 2047,’ the journey ahead is even more inspiring.
He concluded by saluting all scientists, engineers, technicians, and young dreamers who are taking India to greater heights. For India, the sky is not the limit; the universe is our horizon.
