
Patna, June 23: Tej Pratap Yadav, the leader of the Jan Shakti Janata Dal and former minister of Bihar, has expelled his former personal assistant and party’s national general secretary, Motilal Rai, with immediate effect. Alongside this decision, he has announced the dissolution of both the national and state organizations of the party. This information was shared by Yadav on the social media platform X.
In his post, Tej Pratap Yadav stated that Motilal Rai has been removed from his position as national general secretary. He also mentioned that the national and state organizations of the party would be dissolved. A reorganization process will soon commence to strengthen and streamline the party. Yadav has leveled serious allegations against Motilal Rai in his post.
He claimed that late Monday night, Motilal Rai fled from his residence at 42A Harding Road in Patna, taking valuable items, important documents, and cash with him. According to Yadav, Rai allegedly scaled a wall to escape with the belongings. Following this incident, actions were taken at the party level, leading to his expulsion from the position of national general secretary.
It is noteworthy that Tej Pratap Yadav had previously filed a complaint against Motilal Rai at the Patna Secretariat police station, accusing him of theft. The complaint detailed the disappearance of cash, important documents, and other valuable items. The police are currently investigating the matter.
