TCL has launched its latest innovation, the RayNeo Air 4 Pro augmented reality (AR) glasses, at CES 2026. Previously introduced in China, these glasses are now presented globally as the world’s first AR device with HDR10 support. The lightweight wearable aims to deliver immersive visuals paired with high-quality audio co-developed with Bang & Olufsen.
Advanced Display and Visual Experience
The RayNeo Air 4 Pro offers a personal cinema experience through a virtual 201-inch screen visible at a 6-metre distance. Powered by a custom Vision 4000 processor, it supports real-time video enhancements such as SDR-to-HDR upscaling and 2D-to-3D conversion. The HDR10-enabled display promises brighter highlights, deeper contrast, and over a billion colours for a vivid viewing experience.
Comfort and Audio Features
Weighing only 76 grams, the glasses include adjustable nose pads designed for comfortable all-day wear and travel. The audio system comprises four speakers with directional sound tubes to minimise sound leakage. The tuning was carried out in collaboration with B&O Sound Lab to ensure clear audio and precise spatial separation.
Connectivity and Pricing
The RayNeo Air 4 Pro supports connections to smartphones, laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles such as the Nintendo Switch 2 via USB-C. Compatible with any device offering video output, the glasses enable users to watch movies, play games, or use apps on a large private display. The global launch is scheduled for January 25, with a price set at $299.
Alongside the Air 4 Pro, RayNeo also showcased its flagship X3 Pro AR headset. This premium model features AI-powered capabilities, a 43-inch floating display, and real-time multilingual translation. Running on Android, it supports popular apps like YouTube and TikTok. A prototype with eSIM support was also revealed to explore standalone spatial computing.
