Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially opened bookings for its first electric scooter, the e-Access, priced at ₹1.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This launch marks Suzuki’s entry into the electric two-wheeler market in India, with the country being the first to receive the model.
Design and Colour Options
The Suzuki e-Access is now available in four colour combinations, including a new dual-tone paint option called Metallic Mat Stellar Blue paired with Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray. These options enhance the scooter’s appeal for urban commuters seeking style along with eco-friendly mobility.
Battery, Motor, and Performance
Powered by a 4.1 kW electric motor, the e-Access delivers 15 Nm of torque. Suzuki claims the scooter maintains consistent performance even when the battery charge drops to as low as 10 percent. Riders can choose from three riding modes: Eco, Ride A, and Ride B. The scooter also offers features like reverse assist and regenerative braking for added convenience and efficiency.
The scooter uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which Suzuki says provides a longer service life compared to conventional Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) batteries. This battery technology aims to ensure durability and reliability for daily use.

Chassis and Features
The e-Access boasts a lightweight chassis with an aluminium battery casing integrated into the frame, designed to improve stability and handling. Standard equipment includes LED lighting, two-tone alloy wheels, and a maintenance-free drive belt that Suzuki claims can last up to seven years or 70,000 km. The company has also emphasized high standards in panel fit, fastening quality, and overall build consistency.
Availability and Charging Infrastructure
Suzuki plans to support the e-Access through its extensive network of more than 1,200 outlets across India. Currently, over 240 dealerships are equipped with DC charging facilities, with plans to increase this number. AC portable chargers will also be available across the dealership network. Furthermore, Suzuki has trained EV technicians to provide after-sales service, ensuring customer support throughout the ownership experience.
The Suzuki e-Access is now open for booking at authorised Suzuki dealerships nationwide. It will also be available for purchase online through Flipkart once sales commence. Suzuki Motorcycle India, which started operations in 2006, manufactures scooters and motorcycles at its Gurugram, Haryana facility.
