
New Delhi, June 7: Sunil Sharma, the Leader of the Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Saturday. The two leaders engaged in detailed discussions on several critical issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting focused on the current security situation, law and order, development projects, and the political landscape in the Union Territory.
Sharma informed the Home Minister about various challenges and issues emerging at the grassroots level. He also presented the expectations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir regarding peace, development, and effective governance.
During the meeting, they reviewed the government’s efforts to strengthen security, promote inclusive development, and empower democratic institutions at the local level.
