Subhash Ghai: AI Can Assist Humans, But Cannot Replace Them

Mumbai, June 5: Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai has once again shared his thoughts on artificial intelligence (AI). In a recent Instagram post, he stated that AI will simplify many tasks for people in the future. However, true success will belong to those who nurture their creativity and emotional intelligence.

Ghai posted a picture on his Instagram account, accompanied by a caption that read, “AI can handle most mental and intellectual tasks in the future, but it cannot replace the human qualities inherent in us. The future will belong to those who continually strengthen their inner creativity. Skills like music, poetry, painting, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking set humans apart from machines.”

He further emphasized, “Merely obtaining information from AI is not enough; it is essential to connect that information with emotions and creativity. When a person remains connected to art, literature, and human values, they can contribute better to society and develop a spirit of helping others.”

This is not the first time Ghai has expressed his views on AI. He frequently shares his insights on the subject, believing that while AI is a powerful technology, it should not be seen as a substitute for human creativity. Stories, emotions, and imagination originate from the human mind and cannot be entirely entrusted to machines.

Ghai previously mentioned that as time progresses, generations change, technology evolves, and people’s perspectives shift. However, one thing remains constant: human creativity. AI is a product of human intelligence, and its purpose is to assist humanity.
