Fatehpur, June 29: Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan has described the Ram Temple donation theft incident as serious, stating that strict action will be taken against those responsible. He emphasized that anyone who harms the faith and sentiments of devotees will not be spared. The minister made these remarks during a press interaction in Fatehpur.
Sachan informed reporters that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the Ayodhya case and an FIR has been filed. Eight individuals have been sent to jail, and the police have also taken the accused into custody. The Chief Minister has issued clear instructions for a fair investigation, promising that anyone found guilty will face severe consequences.
He stated, “The incident is serious, and the Chief Minister has acknowledged it. An FIR has been registered, leading to the imprisonment of eight individuals, and the police have taken them into remand. The Chief Minister has repeatedly asserted that the truth will prevail. Those involved will receive the strictest punishment.”
Regarding the opposition’s stance on the Ram Temple case, he mentioned, “The SIT was formed as soon as the information came to light, and actions commenced following the report. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made it clear that no guilty party will escape justice, and actions will be taken as per the law.”
The minister also responded to discussions surrounding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in West Bengal, stating, “The BJP government has instilled hope for change in the state. Previously, there was chaos, but now people are feeling the difference. Those who thrived on lawlessness are the ones facing issues.”
On the posters regarding Rahul Gandhi’s disappearance in Delhi, Sachan remarked, “Rahul Gandhi is a representative of the people, and they expect him to address issues concerning his constituency and the public. The individuals who put up the posters likely had their own reasons for taking such action.”
Commenting on statements made by an RSS leader regarding the partition of the country and Mahatma Gandhi, Rakesh Sachan said, “The history of our freedom struggle is filled with challenges. Millions sacrificed their lives for independence, and leaders made crucial decisions based on the circumstances of that time.”
